I have this running list of places I need to go, and honestly it’s such a mix of big, once-in-a-lifetime sights and the most random little things that just feel fun. Like, of course I want to stand at the edge of the Grand Canyon and just take in all of those views that don’t even look real in pictures, so I can only imagine what it feels like in person. But at the same time, I also really want to go to Salt Lake City and try Swig, because the idea of these customized sodas and cookies being such a big thing there is so funny and niche to me. I do think I am going to plan a cousins trip to either New Orleans or Las Vegas in the next few years so I can look forward to that!
And then internationally, it’s the same energy. Obviously, seeing something like the Great Wall of China would be surreal, like actually being somewhere with that much history is kind of hard to wrap my head around. But I’m equally excited about doing something as simple as walking into a 7-Eleven Japan in Tokyo because I’ve seen so many videos about how good the food is there, and I just know I’d end up trying everything. I think that’s what makes traveling so exciting to me, it’s not just about the huge landmarks, it’s the random, everyday experiences that make each place feel completely different.
What is on your bucket list? What places would you recommend?
